Get ready for an adventure of a lifetime with Spotlight's Triple Threat Kids program this summer! Join us as we bring The Jungle Book to life on stage! Whether you love to sing, dance, or act, this is your chance to dive into all three and unleash your inner jungle hero. You’ll learn from talented instructors, explore the wild world of Mowgli and his animal friends, and make memories with new pals. And the best part? You’ll be part of the big show on July 30, as well as perform in various libraries in Kern County as part of the Books in Motion program!

Get ready to shine with Spotlight's Triple Threat Teens program this summer! This year, we’re bringing High School Musical to life, and we want YOU to be part of the action. This program is perfect for teens looking to level up their skills and take the stage. You’ll get hands-on training, collaborate with other talented performers, and get the chance to show off your Triple Threat abilities. The best part? You’ll be part of the big production with performances on August 9 & 10!

Triple Threat Mentorship Program
The Triple Threat Mentorship Program at Spotlight Academy of the Arts offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity for aspiring teen performers in Bakersfield. Unlike any other program in the area, our Triple Threat Mentorship pairs teens with experienced professional performers who play the same roles in their productions, simultaneously. This unique structure allows your teen to learn directly from seasoned actors, singers, and dancers, experiencing the art of performance alongside those who have perfected it.
Throughout the program, our professional mentors work one-on-one with each student, providing personalized guidance to enhance their skills in acting, singing, and dancing. This individualized attention ensures that every teen receives the support they need to reach their full potential. With direct feedback from industry professionals, your teen will gain invaluable insight into the craft and the techniques used by experienced performers.

Kids Theatre FUNdamentals
An exciting, interactive class where kids learn the basics of acting, storytelling, and stage presence. Through games and activities, students will build confidence and creativity while having fun on stage.
Teen Theatre FUNdamentals
This class introduces teens to acting techniques, character development, and stage performance. Students will explore improvisation, monologues, and group scenes while gaining valuable stage skills and building confidence.
Stage Production & Tech
A hands-on class that dives into the technical side of theater. Students will learn about lighting, sound, set design, and stage management, gaining practical experience in creating and running a live production.
Private Vocal Lessons
Ready to unleash your inner superstar? Whether you're hitting high notes or just starting out, vocal lessons are the perfect way to level up your singing game! From warm-ups to learning killer techniques, you'll have a blast while boosting your confidence and vocal power. Let's make your voice shine!
Show Choir
A high-energy class where students combine singing and dancing to perform upbeat musical numbers. Students will work on vocal technique, choreography, and performance skills while preparing for live shows.
